Why We Fly the Otter
A Legacy of Adventure
Originally built in 1958, C-GMDG has a rich history, including time in Vietnam as a U.S. Army aircraft before making its way to the remote lakes of Ontario. After undergoing a complete rebuild and turbine conversion in 1997, it now serves as our primary aircraft, flying guests into some of the most remote fishing and hunting destinations in Canada.
- Built for the Wilderness – Designed for short takeoffs, water landings, and carrying heavy loads to remote locations.
- Reliable & Safe – With a powerful turbine engine and a track record of excellence, it’s the ultimate backcountry workhorse.
- Unmatched Comfort – Spacious cabin, smooth flight, and panoramic views of the breathtaking Ontario landscape.
- A Piece of History – Flying in the Otter is more than just a ride—it’s part of the Northern experience.
